Mualeem Zikirullahi Ibrahim (Chairman)

Mualeem Zikirullahi Ibrahim (popularly known as Comrade Zik in the human rights and pro-democracy community) was born on August 23rd, 1964 at Agbede, Etsako-West Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication (University of Leicester). He was the General Secretary of the United Action for Democracy (UAD) - a coalition of over 46 Nigerian civil society groups. Zikirullahi was a Nigerian Liaison Officer of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (2000-2002); and the founding Secretary-General of the Nigerian Security Printing & Minting Workers Forum (MWF). More


Hajiya Goroso Limota (Deputy Chairperson)

A prolific writer and author, Hajiya Goroso Limota is the Co- founding Director of the International Women Communication Center, a Women's Human Rights NGO committed to promoting and protecting the rights of women, girls and vulnerable groups in Nigeria.

She works as the Nigeria Country Coordinator and project Manager of Groots and Huairo-Commission in Nigeria, which is a U.S based international developmental grassroots NGO, committed to working with grassroots women, the poor and marginalized people to eradicate poverty, promote good governance, disaster management and strategies to reduce the poverty level of women through women's empowerment programs for vulnerable groups in over (30) thirty countries. More

JacobJacob Aaron (Treasurer)

Mr Aaron Jacob is a veteran social developmental expert with over 20 years experience in working in the areas of; peace education, governance, gender equity and malaria prevention/treatment. He has partnered with various organizations such as, UNIFEM/UNDP, National Human Commission, UNICEF, Society for family health, ICPC, CBDD/DFID in his bid to effect a change in development in Nigeria.

He is currently the Coordinator for the Community Information Project, Katsina as well as the Campaign Manager for the German Rotary Club on child spacing, Katsina. He has served as a member of the TMG coordinating committee in the capacity of Zonal Coordinator, North Eastern zone.
